Level 5.5 – Operator 2 Feeding

Course Overview: This is a mid-level course for employees who have completed Level 4 training. This course provides the general training required for Level 5 – Operator 2 Feeding. Upon completion of this course, you will receive a certificate that you have successfully completed the requirements.

Level 5 – Operator 2 Feeding – This level you will be operating various types of equipment in the feeding department, to include Wheel loader, Tractor >100 HP, Tandem axel truck. There is an opportunity to get your Commercial driving license (CDL) during this course.

Level 5 training – There are 5 training areas in this level. Level 5 is a more diverse level of training, further honing your dairy skills. You will rotate throughout the different departments approximately every 6-9 months. Rotation is staggered, so you will not rotate with the same team. In addition to learning job skills, it is important to learn how to work with different teams and personalities.

To be eligible for promotion to the next level, you must successfully complete all Level 5 training.

Note:

• In addition to Job training, ALL employees are required to complete the Human Resource (HR) training and Compliance training.

All new employees that join ABOVE the level 2 entry level position, must take 2 weeks of Level 2 training prior to starting their position.
